Another highlight of my career with the talented Rike and Pierre. It was a real honour to be part of the judging panel for the 2024 Weimar Poetry Film Festival. I also presented Frame to Frames : Your Eyes Follow publication and screening and really enjoyed the festival as a whole. Of course, I wish I could speak German as some of the events were naturally only in the native language. I did manage to communicate with Pierre in French (to some degree!!!) and hope to catch up with him again. However, I really like the way they run the festival, where artists are interviewed about their work, as well as showing films, and poetry readings are also part of the programme (see Rike's performance). It is also takes place at various cinemas around the town, so you enjoy a complete experience. I want to go back as I didn't spend long enough there, and was recovering from an operation so couldn't walk far enough around the beautiful city of philosophers.
